I have been a patient of Dr. Tam’s for 7 years. As someone who is allergic to chemicals and anaesthetics in particular, I most often have my dental work done without an injection. Dr. Tam is so gentle that I nod off to sleep and often she has to wake me because I have closed my mouth. Her staff and hygienist are terrific too. She is the best dentist I have had in more than 50 years and on two continents.

I met Dr. Tam in 2004 after years of neglected dental health and a bit of dental phobia. Despite the state of my teeth she never treated me with anything but respect and provided her recommendations and expertise to restore my dental health within the confines of my budget. I sought Dr Tam’s help after I became very upset with the results of cosmetic dental bonding done by another dentist. I had many black triangles in the upper front teeth which made me very self-conscious. Cosmetic bonding was done to hide the black triangles but the bonding left me with big long teeth . I looked like I was wearing costume teeth. Good for Halloween but not everyday life. Given these were front upper teeth it was very difficult to hide. Dr. Tam patiently , meticulously and skillfully refined and shaped the bonding until I was comfortable and happy with how the bonding looked. Her eye for detail and aesthetic judgment really impressed me. She also actually listened to me, and gave consideration to my opinion about how my teeth should look. One of the best things I ever did for my teeth and smile was put my trust in her. I am an eternally grateful patient of Dr. Tam’s now. I learned what an amazing dentist she is- skilled as an artist in cosmetic dentistry and a physician. In my interactions with her I found her to be a kind and caring person.
